About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned governance professional to join our team as a Chief Governance Specialist. In this critical role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the organisation delivers strategic objectives and meets statutory obligations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead key compliance control functions to minimise exposure and contribute to the capability and culture uplift in governance across the agency.
  • Proactively build robust relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to improve delivery of outcomes across the NSW Government.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and extensive work experience in risk-based compliance and governance.
  • Legal qualifications with experience in administrative, commercial or regulatory law.
