Senior Officer, Student Finance Specialist

As a key member of our team at Federation University Australia, you will be responsible for providing expert fee advice and assistance to both internal and external clients. This role involves handling a range of administrative tasks including invoicing, collections, refunds, and reconciliation of domestic and international student fees.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing accurate and timely fee advice to all clients.
- Ensuring timely generation of student invoice communications and accurate invoicing of student fees.
- Allocating and reporting tuition fee scholarships and waivers effectively.
- Coodinating the collection of outstanding fees from clients.
- Reconciling student fee income, expenditure, and general ledger accounts with accuracy.
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Coordinator, Student Finance, you will be required to demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality service delivery. You will develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the student lifecycle and relevant policies, procedures, and legislation.
Requirements:- Excellent knowledge of financial functions and processes.
- Ability to provide high-quality student advice, research, analyze, interpret, and evaluate information.
- Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders in a cross-cultural context.
- Collaborative working style with ability to establish effective relationships with various stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have a competitive salary of around $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a rewarding career with a leading Australian university.
