Contracts Administrator Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Contracts Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting the preparation, negotiation, and management of contracts with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing contract terms, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and facilitating smooth contract execution and administration. Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain contract records, variation registers, and contractual obligations.
  • Track and notify project managers on key contract milestones and expiry dates.
  • Draft notices and extensions of time claims, and review contractual obligations.
  • Support the tendering team with negotiations, modifications, and proof reading.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in law/business/commerce/finance/engineering or equivalent.
  • A working knowledge of construction contract law, including relevant Acts and regulations.
  • An ability to engage and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills for a diverse workload.
