Join our Base and Estate Management team and play a key role in overseeing and implementation of procurement processes within the contract, including subcontractors and major suppliers.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.What You'll DoThis role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:Ensuring a consistent, thorough, and sound approach is taken to procurement throughout the Downer business.
Supporting new projects at an early stage with the development of initial procurement plans, assisting drafting of project specific subcontract/supply agreements and ensuring due attention given to any 'critical supply' subcontractors/suppliers.
Oversee and administer effective tender management through the use of Downer's procurement and vendor management platform, in alignment with Downer and Defence compliance standards.
Oversee supplier and equipment procurement, identifying requirements for long-lead items, managing deployment logistics, confirming calibration and maintenance requirements and deliver stie readiness strategies.
What You'll Bring Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline (e.g., Business, Commerce) Advanced Microsoft Excel, or relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience in procurement or supply chain related roles.
Accounting or finance background would be advantageous, but not essential.
Hold or ability to obtain a Defence Security clearance.
