Job Description

We are seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to join our talented supply chain team at our National Head Office based in South Melbourne. This is a permanent, full-time role requiring 5 days of work from our Head Office (8:30am-4:30pm approx.).

Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Control: Receive, store, and dispatch goods; manage inventory transactions in SAP; and handle return to stock items.
  • Quality Assurance: Identify discrepancies in picking slips and bills of materials, and verify receipt and quantities of materials.
  • Logistics Coordination: Prepare requisitions, route shipments, and ensure outgoing shipments meet specifications.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe inventory warehouse and storerooms.
  • Support and Optimization: Assist production with material requests, participate in cycle counts and stock takes, and implement Kanban systems.
  • Collaboration and Compliance: Work cooperatively with all stakeholders, recommend process improvements, and adhere to company policies and standards.

  • Knowledge of electronic components, manufacturing experience, and demonstrated expertise in safe manual handling practices are required.
  • Proficiency in SAP and ERP, along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel, is necessary.
  • Experience in shipping practices and strong communication skills are a must.
  • A valid Australian Drivers License is required.
  • A current Forklift License is highly desirable.
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including access to training and development opportunities, flexible work arrangements, and a dynamic work environment.
