About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Inventory Specialist to join our Surgical Services team at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. As a key member of our inventory management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our supplies, equipment, and implants are accurately managed and efficiently distributed to support patient care.

The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, accounting, purchasing, or stores, with a strong understanding of procurement ordering systems and prosthesis management. You will be responsible for independently managing prostheses, inventory, and equipment, as well as providing excellent customer service skills to support our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage inventory levels, including supplies, equipment, and implants
  • Process orders and ensure accurate tracking of inventory movements
  • Collaborate with the Procurement and Logistics Manager to develop and implement efficient supply chain processes
  • Provide excellent customer service to support patients and staff
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to inventory management
