Health Support Role

Cogent Thinking is a leader in delivering best practice injury prevention, 24/7 incident response and care coordination services tailored to each customer. This role offers an opportunity for someone seeking to work within a dynamic and growing organisation with a terrific team environment where client focus, team spirit and respect are key features.

We are expanding our service delivery and seeking a candidate who is available to work on weekends and Friday evenings. The role involves connecting with injured employees and their managers to support them through workplace injuries by offering injury triage, first aid advice, support and linking them into support services and resources available.

Tasks include:

  • Supporting clients with empathy and expertise to improve their health goals.
  • Coordinating supports and wellbeing services for highly engaged and motivated clients.
  • Providing initial intervention Triage with clients, supporting both physical and mental health services.
  • Liaising with stakeholders, providing email updates, and creating relevant documentation such as treatment plans or other documentation required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Experienced Allied Health practitioner with full registration or a Registered Nurse.
  • Current and valid Working With Children Check.
  • Evidence of First Aid (level 2) or Basic Life Support training within a hospital setting.
  • Caring and empathic nature.
  • Experience in care coordination or occupational rehabilitation desirable.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good IT and time management skills.
  • Strong customer service focus.
