About The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Child Welfare Compliance Specialist to join our team at Challenge Community Services. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our organization remains compliant with internal and external requirements related to Foster Carers.

Your key responsibilities will include conducting regular reviews, maintaining compliance databases and the NSW Carers Register, and supporting potential foster carers through the authorization process. Additionally, you will assist in delivering Shared Lives training, assessing potential placement options for children and young people, and organizing foster care activities and events.

What We Offer:
  • Competitive Salary: $85,000 per annum, reflective of your qualifications and experience.

About You:
  • Qualifications in Community Services or a related field, or relevant experience and knowledge in the OOHC sector.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to engage with a range of audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to write comprehensive assessment reports with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring deadlines are met without sacrificing quality.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in using client management systems and databases.
