We are seeking a highly skilled Therapeutic Intervention Specialist to join our team at Ability Action Australia.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to work as part of our multidisciplinary team in Tamworth. As a Therapeutic Intervention Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) services to participants within schools, homes, and the community. Your exceptional skills and knowledge will enable you to develop and implement tailored therapeutic plans that cater to the diverse needs of our clients.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assist in projects that enhance clinical practice and service delivery.
  • Manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner.
  • Deliver ECI services to participants within schools, homes, and the community.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions that empower participants to achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Maintain awareness of current NDIS legislation to guarantee compliance.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • University qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, or Early Childhood Education.
  • Extensive experience working with children aged 0-7 years and families.
  • Experience delivering services under the NDIS.
  • Strong knowledge and advocacy for the key worker model.
  • Demonstrated suitability for working within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a caseload.
  • A genuine passion for working in the Disability sector.
