Join Urbis as a Senior Heritage Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Heritage Consultant to join our Sydney team. As a key member of our heritage team, you will contribute to the success of our clients by delivering high-quality heritage consulting services.

About the Role:

As a Senior Heritage Consultant at Urbis, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across various sectors, including commercial, residential, and cultural heritage. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing heritage assessments, impact statements, and conservation management plans;
  • Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to develop innovative solutions for complex heritage challenges;
  • Providing expert advice to clients on heritage matters, including statutory heritage and planning legislation;
  • Maintaining and expanding your knowledge of Australian heritage policies, guidelines, and best practices.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar heritage consulting role or related industry discipline;
  • A strong understanding of Australian heritage policies, guidelines, and best practices;
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., architecture, history, archaeology) or a related postgraduate qualification.
