Job Role: Helpdesk Support Specialist
This pivotal role ensures seamless IT system functioning within a healthcare environment.
- The primary responsibility involves providing technical support and troubleshooting to hospital staff across various departments.
- A key aspect of this role is monitoring helpdesk systems, logging and tracking all support requests and incidents, prioritizing and escalating issues when necessary for timely resolution.
- Collaboration with other IT support team members is essential to resolve complex issues, adhering to hospital IT policies, procedures, and security protocols.
About You:
- Prior experience in a helpdesk or IT support role with a strong technical foundation.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly identify and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and tracking tools used for managing IT requests.
- Able to clearly explain technical issues and solutions to non-technical users.
- Proficiency in helpdesk systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Mandatory requirement is a National Police Clearance.
