Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a skilled Field Technician to support Nokia hardware troubleshooting and maintenance, as well as remote cell site operations in the Victoria area.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive problem solver with strong technical expertise to join our team. As a Remote Field Technician, you will be responsible for performing site routines and break-fix tasks in the field during standard hours (8 AM - 5 PM). You will also troubleshoot and maintain Nokia BTS hardware and associated systems.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  1. Troubleshooting and Maintenance
  2. Site Routines and Break-Fix Tasks
  3. Technical Support and Project Management
  4. Disaster Recovery Planning and Response

You Will Be Working Closely With Our Team to Ensure:

  1. Effective Communication and Collaboration
  2. Timely Resolution of Technical Issues
  3. Quality of Service Delivery

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

  • At Least 3 Years of Relevant Experience
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and Nokia BTS Software
  • Familiarity with Radio Access Networks, Backhaul Systems, Signaling, and Operational Best Practices

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Solid Understanding of Project Management Principles
  • Basic Knowledge of Disaster Recovery Processes and Network Design
