Employment Relations Officer

The Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) is dedicated to protecting Australia and Australians from threats to their security. In a complex, challenging and changing security environment, our success is built on the imagination and intelligence of our team.

As an Employment Relations Officer, you will play a key role in promoting positive working relationships, resolving conflicts, and ensuring compliance with employment law. You will provide advice and support to employees and managers in relation to employment conditions, performance management, Code of Conduct, grievances, and dispute resolution.

You will assist with the development, review, and implementation of Organisational policies and procedures. This may include:

  • Responding to queries related to complaints and ASIO's Code of Conduct
  • Progressing and managing Code of Conduct complaints, including case management investigations

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Knowledge of employment laws and government regulations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
