Key ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a skilled Community Services Coordinator to support our retirement village team. The role involves providing exceptional customer service to residents and visitors, managing staff rosters and timesheets, coordinating resident activities and events, and completing various administrative tasks.
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the village by supporting the Community Manager as required.
- Deliver high-quality customer service to residents and visitors, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Manage staff schedules, timesheets, and training programs to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Coordinate a range of resident activities, events, and communications to promote engagement and community spirit.
- Perform administrative tasks such as processing invoices, answering phone calls, and monitoring mail and email enquiries.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a residential or community setting.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service, with a strong focus on communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
- Enthusiasm for working with older adults and developing positive relationships with them.
A First Aid Certificate and Working with Vulnerable People Check (ACT) are essential requirements for this role. If you do not hold these certifications but are willing to obtain them, we welcome your application.
