Job Description

**Job Summary**

The Federal Court of Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Client Service Officer to join our team. As a Client Service Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients, both in-person and over the phone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide information and advice to clients on court services, procedures, and processes.
  • Progress cases by providing administrative services, including document lodgement, enquiries management, and receiving and reconciling court fees.
  • Identify issues and contribute to the resolution of problems.
  • Schedule and prioritize matters for hearing and other interventions.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including judges, registrars, and legal practitioners.
  • Collate, analyze, and produce reports as required.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated record of success in providing service to clients, including working directly with the general public.
  • Working knowledge of court procedures, guidelines, policies, and practice.
  • Effective organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work well in a team, act with integrity, and use initiative.
  • Capacity to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with strong interpersonal skills.
