This role operates within a small registry team, providing service to all court clients both locally and nationally. The successful applicant will be required to work in both the Strategic Support Hub and Location Based Support across various streams of work.
Key Responsibilities- Provide information and advice to clients on court services, procedures, and processes.
- Progress cases by providing administrative services, including document lodgement, enquiries management, and receiving and reconciling court fees and charges.
- Assist in the management of complex cases through the case management system.
- Work independently to apply legislation, guidelines, and court processes.
- Identify issues and contribute to the resolution of problems.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to assist in the resolution of cases.
- Coach employees and provide quality assurance.
- Collate, analyse, and produce reports as required.
- A demonstrated record of success in providing client-focused services.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of court procedures, guidelines, policies, and practice.
- Demonstrated effective organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- A demonstrated ability to work well in a team and use initiative.
- Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively with strong interpersonal skills.
Employment with the Federal Court of Australia is subject to the conditions prescribed in the Public Service Act 1999.
