Medical Receptionist/Client Services Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Receptionist/Client Services Officer to join our team at Hearing Australia. As a key member of our client services team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our clients and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical services.
Key Responsibilities- Client Support: Provide exceptional support to clients, including greeting and attending to counter and telephone enquiries, managing appointment bookings, and processing claims and payments.
- Administrative Support: Undertake general administration duties, including data entry for stock management, completing reports for compliance purposes, and performing minor hearing aid repairs.
- Client Liaison: Liaise extensively with clients, including children and adults with complex needs, as well as clients from multicultural and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds.
- Team Support: Assist our clinical team with the provision of services, including identifying client needs, offering professional advice, and demonstrating the use of hearing aids.
- Experience: Proven experience in a client-facing role, preferably in an allied health or medical setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Intermediate to advanced level computer literacy, including MS Outlook, MS Teams, and browser-based applications.
- Education: Relevant qualifications or experience in a related field.
