Country Manager Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the expansion of the business throughout the assigned territory.
  • Maintain a revenue growth strategy to achieve annual targets.
  • Build and manage a team of professionals including sales, brand strategists, and content creators.
  • Coordinate and service sales and marketing activities for regional clients.
  • Negotiate and maintain relationships with top advertisers and media agencies.
  • Foster collaboration and motivation among employees to drive success.
  • Develop strategic account plans to align client objectives.
  • Translate customer requirements into actionable business initiatives.
  • Explore new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Present regular financial reports to management.
  • Establish long-term business development strategies.

Key Requirements:

  • University degree or MBA preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in digital management and/or strategy.
  • Strong professional connections with senior marketing executives and industry partners.
  • Track record of successful advertising campaigns and proposals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Extensive network of C-level contacts in key industries.
  • In-depth understanding of the digital landscape (programmatic, social, search, native, influencer, etc.).
  • Familiarity with lead generation, direct marketing, and consumer models.
  • Knowledge of agency services, creative production, metrics-based media, and data analytics.
  • Experience managing teams with empathy and adaptability.
  • Ability to work independently and travel when needed.
  • Strong preference for bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
  • 'Business-first' attitude with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Entrepreneurial thinking with analytical skills.
  • Languages: Local native speaker with fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
