Children's Sales Professional for Educational and Trade Markets

Key objectives for sales of children's products in educational, library, and trade settings will be established and achieved through existing and new business opportunities.

  • Develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the education, library, and trade sectors to understand customer needs and maximise sales potential.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create targeted campaigns that align with customer requirements.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts including clubs, fairs, library suppliers, educational suppliers, and specialist children's bookshops.
  • Identify new market opportunities and build a network of contacts by attending relevant events and conferences.

This role requires passion for children's literature, experience in publishing sales, library, or education channels, and strong analytical and commercial acumen.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of the children's book market and its trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
