
Children's Product Sales Executive

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to assume responsibility for developing and delivering sales and profit targets for our children's lists in the School, Library, and Trade channels.
This role requires a strong understanding of the education, library, and trade sectors, as well as the ability to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to maximize sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies across core children's sales avenues such as schools, libraries, and specialized trade channels.
- Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their customers and identify potential sales opportunities.
- Collaborating with colleagues in marketing and sales to create and deliver targeted campaigns that drive sales growth.
- Managing an existing portfolio of accounts including clubs and fairs, library suppliers, educational suppliers, specialist children's bookshops, and head office accounts.
- Identifying new channel opportunities and expanding the network of contacts through attendance at relevant events and conferences.
- A genuine passion for children's books and experience in publishing sales, library, or education channels.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present compelling sales pitches to both individual clients and larger audiences.
- Exceptional numeracy and commercial acumen, enabling you to assess profitability on a deal-by-deal basis while maintaining accuracy in forecasting and reporting to sales budgets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to deliver clear, professional reports and presentations.
