Children's Sales Executive

The role involves driving sales and profit growth across the School, Library, and Trade channels for children's books.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop targeted sales strategies to boost revenue in schools, libraries, and specialist trade channels.
- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders in education, library, and trade sectors.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales colleagues to create and execute impactful campaigns.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts including clubs, fairs, library suppliers, educational suppliers, and specialist bookshops.
- Identify new channel opportunities and expand network through attendance at education, library, and bookseller events.
- Passion for children's literature and experience in publishing sales, library, or education sectors.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets, skilled in negotiation, and adept at thinking on your feet.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to craft compelling sales pitches.
- Strong numeracy and commercial acumen, enabling you to assess profitability on a deal-by-deal basis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
