We are seeking a skilled Learning and Development Consultant to join Tandem Partners, a dynamic global blue-collar business. This is a newly created contract role that will bring in expertise as an extension to the existing HR team to re-vamp, update, and completely rehaul learning and training programs across the organisation.
Job DescriptionAs a Learning and Development Consultant, you will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies for learning and capability frameworks across both corporate and site-based workforces, focusing on service, capabilities, soft skills, sales, and competencies.
- Develop and execute enterprise-wide learning and development strategies.
- Create training programs tailored to primarily a sales and service workforce, but also enterprise-wide programs.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively within a close-knit HR team.
- Consult effectively with employees at all levels, including executive management.
- Manage projects with strong planning skills while being versatile and hands-on in operational aspects.
- Centralise all learning and training within a new LMS implementation.
- Design a strategic plan to hand over for a newly created L&D specialist position.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Extensive L&D experience in a multi-site, medium, or large complex blue-collar, services, or similar commercial environment.
- Expertise in setting up frameworks, processes, and action plans, in ambiguous and unstructured settings.
- Ability to design content, enhance digital learning technologies (inc LMS implementation), improve efficiencies, and effectiveness of existing and development of new workplace training programs.
- Ability to consult and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Strong project planning skills with a hands-on approach to operational tasks.
The ideal candidate will have strong L&D/LMS specialist and implementation experience. You will have a flexible approach to working hours and be comfortable working from multiple sites, with occasional travel required. A car and driver's licence are essential for this role.
This is a potential full-time (or part-time) contract offered on a day rate basis, with an immediate start available for the right candidate. The salary range for this role is $600 - $650 per day, making it an attractive opportunity for those looking for a challenging and rewarding career move.
