Job Title: Rehabilitation Consultant

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to provide tailored support for individuals living with an illness, disability, or injury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case management and administrative tasks
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes
  • Developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs
  • Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical, and allied health professionals
  • Working across various schemes including workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs
  • Assisting individuals with injuries or health conditions to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes
  • Conducting assessments, including Initial Assessments, Worksite Assessments & Vocational Assessments
  • Providing relevant injury prevention and injury management consultancy services

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling
  • Full ASORC Membership
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation would be highly regarded
  • Fabulous communication skills
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy are essential
  • Well-developed time management skills are a must
  • A current VIC Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must
