Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions.

  • Support clients in returning to their original employment or exploring new vocational opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to improve return to work outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Case management, including working with colleagues to alleviate administrative tasks.
  • Applying clinical knowledge to develop injury prevention and workplace education programs.
  • Conducting assessments across Initial Assessments, Worksite Assessments & Vocational Assessments to support someone in their return to health, work & life goals.

This role offers a broad and varied experience in occupational rehabilitation, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong understanding of occupational rehabilitation principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

You will also need to have a thorough understanding of the occupational rehabilitation process, including case management, assessment, and intervention. Additionally, you should have excellent time management and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
