About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Management Specialist to join our team at DXC Technology Inc. as a PIAWE Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of Pre-Injury Average Weekly Earnings (PIAWE) for injured workers in line with the Workers Injury Rehabilitation Compensation Act.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, and providers, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Provide detailed explanations to clients on the calculation of PIAWE and the factors considered.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills with high attention to detail to resolve complex issues and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry codes.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, and ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret payroll data, EBA's, and contracts of service.
  • Previous experience in customer service and administration, with a background in working within/understanding of legislative requirements and guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
