We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Unit Coordinator to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Calvary North Adelaide Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient admissions and discharges management, ensuring seamless transitions between departments.
  • Data entry and maintenance using IPM software, guaranteeing accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintenance of accurate and effective record management systems, including ANZICS data.
  • Health fund eligibility checks, retrieval, and preparation of notes for fast-track admissions.
  • Collation and preparation of case notes, supporting timely decision-making.
  • Maintaining on-call rosters, ensuring smooth operation during off-peak hours.
  • Typing of meeting minutes and agendas, promoting effective communication.
  • Billing and admission data spreadsheet maintenance, providing insights for informed decisions.
Requirements
  • Previous administrative experience in a healthcare setting, showcasing understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy, ensuring high-quality work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating collaboration with medical professionals.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and within a team environment, adapting to changing priorities.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), supporting efficient task completion.
  • Ability to work in close proximity to medical scenarios, requiring composure and adaptability.

An estimated annual salary is approximately $65,000-$80,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Please note the following requirements:
