Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Records Coordinator to join our team at the Women's and Children's Health Network (WCHN). The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and contributing to the provision of a comprehensive, efficient, effective, responsive, and confidential Medical Record Service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and contribute to the provision of a comprehensive, efficient, effective, responsive, and confidential Medical Record Service
  • Provide orientation, training, and ongoing education to ASO2 staff working in the Medical Records Department
  • Coordinate workload and day-to-day performance of the ASO2 staff group
  • Facilitate WCHN response for coronial directions
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A proven ability to analyse, evaluate, and apply information to support administrative operations and general work unit direction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with consumers, staff, external agencies
  • Competent and accurate data entry, keyboard, and intermediate computer skills
  • Demonstrated ability to use judgement and respond to unusual circumstances while working under continuous pressure
  • Experience in staff management
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

  • A salary package ranging from $66,590 to $70,968 per annum
