We are seeking an experienced Ward Clerk to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient admissions and discharges
- Data Entry using IPM software
- Maintaining accurate and effective record management systems – ANZICS data
- Health fund eligibility check, retrieve and prepare notes for fast track admissions
- Collation and preparation of case notes
- Maintaining On Call Rosters
- Typing of Meeting Minutes and Agendas
- Maintaining Billing & Admission Data Spreadsheet
- Previous administrative experience working in a health care setting
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Proven ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work in close proximity to Medical Scenarios
The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including NFP salary packaging, discounted health insurance, paid parental leave, and flexible hours that make sense for you.
