About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Ward Clerk to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient admissions and discharges
  • Data Entry using IPM software
  • Maintaining accurate and effective record management systems – ANZICS data
  • Health fund eligibility check, retrieve and prepare notes for fast track admissions
  • Collation and preparation of case notes
  • Maintaining On Call Rosters
  • Typing of Meeting Minutes and Agendas
  • Maintaining Billing & Admission Data Spreadsheet
Requirements
  • Previous administrative experience working in a health care setting
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work in close proximity to Medical Scenarios
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including NFP salary packaging, discounted health insurance, paid parental leave, and flexible hours that make sense for you.
