Workplace Injury Prevention Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Workplace Injury Prevention Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping Australians return to work after an injury or illness.

The successful candidate will have a degree in physiotherapy and be eligible for AHPRA accreditation. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar field and have a passion for delivering high-quality services that support individuals and organisations to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate treatment and rehabilitation needs of workers
  • Conduct assessments such as initial needs, workplace assessments, ergonomics and activities of daily living
  • Help clients identify future employment or training options by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications and interests
  • Responsible for effective case management to plan, coordinate and monitor client progress toward their return-to-work goal
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hold a degree in Physiotherapy
  • Be eligible for AHPRA accreditation, upon graduating
  • Have graduated in the last 12 months or graduating in 2025
  • Be eligible to be Comcare accredited (desirable, but not essential)
