Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Officer to join our team at Icon Cancer Centre Australia.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position, operating across the Hobart region with occasional travel to other parts of the State. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and enhancing patient care across our network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Territory Management: Act as the primary point of contact for healthcare professionals and contribute to strategic and operational plans to optimise referrals and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong connections with key stakeholders including specialists, healthcare providers, and referrers through collaborative initiatives and educational programs.
  • MDM Management: Provide administrative facilitation to Icon Cancer Centre's MDM meetings, including preparing, organising and circulating lists of patients for discussion.
  • Marketing and Communications: Collaborate with the Marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and participate in PR activities to enhance Icon's market presence.
Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is $80,000-$110,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in marketing, business, or a health-related discipline.
  • Proven success in business growth.
  • A current open driver's license.
