Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Contract Manager to join our Melbourne office. In this role, you will contribute to the management of contracts for the Enterprise Network Modernisation Program (ENMP) as part of our Commercial Team. You will work independently with minimal supervision and lead the preparation and execution of RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, as well as manage subcontract modifications and supplier vetting requests.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage contracts and subcontracts for ENMP, ensuring compliance with prime contract and program requirements.
  2. Analyze and ensure compliance to contractual, legal, technical, and quality requirements.
  3. Process invoices for Commercial and Government subcontracts and resolve associated problems with receipts and/or invoicing.
  4. Maintain files in compliance with L3Harris Policies and government requirements, including creation, management, and archiving of contract and subcontract files/documentations.
  5. Work collaboratively with the Delivery team to develop action plans to address problematic trends and escalate large issues with functionally approved action plans.
  6. Contribute to the wider program team in achieving outcomes and ensuring all commitments are met.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and minimum 7 years of prior related experience.
  • Total years 5 related experience to be one or a combination of Supply Chain, Subcontracts, Contracts, Procurement, Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Compliance, Legal and Government compliance, and/or Finance.
  • Minimum 5-year experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, WORD, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Minimum 3 years experience in negotiations, contract or sub-contract performance/risk management.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution, and/or equivalent relevant commercial experience.

L3Harris offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including:
