About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our Commercial team at McColl's Transport. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our Farm Milk Collection customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the growth and development of enduring customer relationships to maximise commercial opportunities and increase market penetration.
  • Build trusting and professional relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure high levels of service and customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve targets relating to revenue maximisation and gross margin profitability.
  • Manage the Farm Milk Collection Division's customer contract portfolio.
  • Provide commercial analysis and reporting to the Commercial team on insights into the division's financial performance, customer updates, and business opportunities.
About You

You will be passionate about Customer Relationship Management with outstanding interpersonal and organisational skills. To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a Strategic Account Management or a Strategic Operational role.
  • Strong commercial instincts with extensive experience in negotiating and managing contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex business issues and planning needs.
  • Proven ability in the negotiation and management of large customer contracts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A high level of computer literacy and attention to detail.
