Job Summary

We're seeking highly motivated and friendly Sales Assistants to join our team on a casual basis in our Surry Hills store. As a Sales Assistant, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customers have an outstanding experience in-store
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and provide expert advice to customers
  • Contribute to the visual merchandising and store presentation, ensuring a welcoming and engaging store environment
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card sales, and returns
  • Participate in stock management, including receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience working in a high-volume, disciplined retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering results
  • Ability to lift heavy items (e.g., bags of dog food) and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Strong merchandising skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to the care and well-being of pets
