About our Opportunity:
Discover Nursing Australia has a contractual opportunity available for a Clinical Care Specialist to provide support to individuals with complex needs. We strive to tailor our support to meet the unique requirements of each participant, promoting independence and autonomy in their community setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting holistic examinations and preparing assessments for participants with intellectual and/or physical disabilities. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to arrange your schedule around other commitments.
We provide professional indemnity, public liability, and worker's compensation insurance, ensuring you have the necessary protection while working as an independent contractor.
A key aspect of this opportunity is the ability to choose the type of services you want to provide, giving you control over your workload and career development.
Your Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments and developing care plans tailored to the individual's needs.
- Flexibility is key, with opportunities to work on your own terms and adjust your schedule as needed.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Proof of Right to Work in Australia (Australian Citizenship or Grant Visa)
- AHPRA Registration with no conditions or restrictions
- Current Police Clearance (attained within 3 years)
- Working with Children Check (current within expiry date)
- First Aid and CPR Certificates (maintained within specified timeframes)
- Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You' completion
Estimated Salary: $60-$80 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications), with the potential for higher rates based on the services provided.
