Food Services Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the daily operations of our Food Services team at Hornsby Hospital.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, be able to provide effective direction and supervision to the team, and possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
Availability: 7 days a week on a rotating roster with shifts from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Food Services team to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency.
- Develop and implement operational plans to ensure seamless delivery of food services to patients and staff.
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and hygiene in all aspects of food preparation and presentation.
- Proven leadership experience in a similar role or industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents, or valid work visa).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible work arrangements: varied start/finish times, part-time work and job sharing where applicable.
- Leave: annual leave loading (17.5%), ADO (one day off each month), 14 weeks' paid parental leave for eligible employees.
