About the Role

The Facilities Operations Manager will oversee a portfolio of 4 retail centres in Sydney and NSW Central Coast, requiring exceptional client service, strategic thinking, and collaboration with other team members to achieve set objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct weekly presentation inspections for all shopping centre assets.
  • Conduct monthly property inspections for all shopping centre assets.
  • Provide technical advice on maintenance across a portfolio of retail centers.
  • Procure services to ensure compliance with technical, risk, and statutory requirements.
  • Manage essential services including air conditioning, lifts, and fire safety.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants, and tenant representatives.
  • Ensure timely delivery of compliance targets and KPIs.
  • Optimise operation of buildings to design specifications.
  • Monitor and manage energy consumption.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual with a building trade background, preferably with experience in facilities management or a related industry. The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills, ability to analyse issues, and a proven track record of contract management.
