About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Strategic Project Coordinator (Portfolio Leader) to join our Products and Programs team, leading a team of Project Managers delivering distinct product-focused projects. The role involves effective delivery, management, and governance of the portfolio, ensuring projects meet agreed objectives within approved schedules.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Programs and relevant GM Sponsors, maintaining high standards for project delivery using standardized project management strategies, financial management frameworks, and security obligations.

This is a full-time opportunity with hybrid working arrangements in various locations.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Managing end-to-end delivery of multiple projects, ensuring integration and contribution towards a common strategy.
  • Working with stakeholders to document outcomes and objectives, benefits, and establish benefit metrics.
  • Implementing governance frameworks for projects, ensuring sponsors are informed of progress.
  • Financial management of projects, including forecasting, reporting, and governance of financial obligations.
  • Effectively controlling and managing issues, risks, dependencies, and changes in scope.
  • Coaching a team of Project Managers or Coordinators to improve project management capabilities.

About You

- Strong project/program management experience, preferably in telecommunications.

- Experience creating and overseeing large-scale projects of substantial size and complexity.

- Proven ability to manage and coach a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Understanding of financial and program governance frameworks.

- Strong financial acumen with experience overseeing budgets.

- Ability to build positive relationships and influence stakeholders.
