Service Planning Coordinator Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Planning Coordinator to lead important and impactful projects for children, young people, and their families in the Yarra area.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and implement strategic projects that drive continuous improvement and integrated service delivery in response to community needs and policy/funding reform.
  • Work closely with leadership teams and managers to ensure changes in policy, legislation, and funding are well-planned.
  • Oversee and coordinate branch administration teams.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to support policy, research, evaluation, strategic service planning, and branch administration.
About Our Team

The Family, Youth and Children's Services team is a innovative and supportive group that works together to improve the lives of children, families, and young people.

The team has five interconnected service units working together to achieve our goals:

  • Children's Services: early childhood and education and care services.
  • Connie Benn Centre: integrated family and children's hub.
  • Family Services: Maternal and Child Health, immunisation, Integrated Family Services, and playgroups.
  • Service Planning and Development: policy, research, evaluation, strategic service planning, and branch administration.
  • Youth and Middle Years Services: programs, advocacy, and youth engagement.
