Site Quality Assurance Specialist

About the role:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with quality systems.
- They will work closely with installation teams and engineers to ensure high-quality outcomes within schedule and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain a site quality system in accordance with company policies and contractual requirements.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to identify and address root causes of nonconformities.
- Maintain accurate records of quality control processes, inspection results, and corrective actions taken.
- Evaluate and qualify welders and inspectors, maintaining relevant documentation.
- Drive completion of QA corrective actions and technical change requests in an efficient manner.
- Ensure calibration of measurement tools and track compliance.
- Conduct site audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in QA/QC or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven ability to drive project success with a focus on HSE, quality, schedule, and budget.
- Demonstrated experience in quality for large hydro power projects or similar industries.
- Construction and/or E&M experience is required.
- Proficient technical and operational knowledge of QA/QC systems aligned with ISO:9001.
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a customer- and people-oriented approach.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English in an international team environment.
