The Site Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing site quality processes, implementing quality control measures, and identifying areas for improvement to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:- Support and ensure that the implementation of a robust quality system in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Implement a continuous improvement system ensuring root cause analysis and lessons learned are properly initiated and maintained at site.
- Closely cooperate with site supervisors and contractors to coordinate all quality activities ensuring alignment with customer requirements and schedule.
- Work closely with the site installation team to ensure work is completed safely, in accordance with quality standards, customer requirements, and schedule.
- Ensure that all QA/QC inspections and tests are performed in accordance with the quality plan: participate in inspections according to inspection & test plans (ITPs), secure necessary resources and coordinate tests performed by specialized service providers.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control processes, inspection results, and corrective actions taken.
- University degree in quality assurance/control or equivalent industry experience.
- Ability to drive project success with a focus on health, safety, and environment (HSE), quality, schedule, and operational excellence.
- Previous demonstrated experience in quality management for large hydro power projects or similar industries; construction and/or engineering & maintenance (E&M) experience required.
- Proficient technical and operational knowledge of quality assurance/control systems aligned with international organization for standardization (ISO):9001.
