Warranty Advisor

We are seeking a skilled Warranty Advisor to join our team.

This is a 12-month fixed-term full-time position, requiring in-office presence five days a week. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative work environment and promote effective teamwork.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing Warranty Support: Offering accurate and practical warranty advice to dealerships, assisting them in the preparation and submission of warranty claims.
  • Adjudicating Warranty Claims: Reviewing and approving high-value and complex warranty claims, ensuring compliance with business guidelines.
  • Prior Authorisation Requests (PARs): Assessing PAR submissions, working closely with dealer staff, technical teams, and state office representatives to ensure all submissions meet standards.
  • Collaborating Across Teams: Working with the Dealer Support Team to thoroughly review and understand all factors contributing to symptom, behaviour, or operation issues. Liaising with original equipment manufacturers for effective claim resolutions.
  • Monitoring and Reporting Trends: Identifying and reporting emerging trends in warranty claims, providing regular feedback to enhance business processes and update technical communication.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participating in department initiatives, such as updating tools, delivering training, and supporting special projects, to drive ongoing improvements in warranty processes.

In order to succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Motor Mechanic Trade Qualifications: Holding current and relevant trade qualifications in automotive technology.
  • Post-Apprenticeship Experience: Having at least four years of post-apprenticeship experience in a related field.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Being able to clearly articulate technical information to various stakeholders.
  • Analytical Abilities: Possessing excellent analytical skills and being able to solve problems effectively.
  • Negotiation Skills: Having strong negotiation skills and being able to build relationships with both internal and external partners.
  • Organisational Skills: Being highly organised and able to prioritise competing demands.
