Pastoral Care Support Worker

As a Pastoral Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the spiritual and emotional well-being of elderly individuals residing in an aged care facility.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in supplementing and complementing the work of our Residential Pastoral Care Coordinator to ensure comprehensive support is provided to residents.
  • Under their guidance, contribute to supporting residents in meeting their spiritual needs, promoting emotional stability and comfort.
Key Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a high level of empathy and effective listening abilities.
  • Prior experience or training in pastoral care, equipping you to provide empathetic and informed support.
  • Availability for regular visits between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, allowing for consistent engagement with residents.
