Spiritual Care Role

We are seeking a skilled individual to provide quality spiritual care centred on individual resident needs and outcomes.

  1. Lead and support the Spiritual Care team to deliver exceptional spiritual care experiences.
  2. Ensure that residents' choices and preferences are respected in the context of holistic care.
  3. Develop and implement innovative approaches to spirituality, including activities, services, and resources.
  4. Support residents in preparing for end-of-life by facilitating reflective discussions about their life, contribution, worth, and legacy.

The successful candidate will possess a high level of spiritual commitment and genuine passion for people, along with relevant qualifications and experience.

Key requirements include:

  • Relevant qualifications in Pastoral Care, Chaplaincy, or Ministry.
  • Experience in Pastoral ministry and/or Chaplaincy, preferably with elderly communities.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate spiritual care support and approaches to diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong communication skills, interpersonal, written, and oral, with an ability to develop rapport quickly with people from diverse backgrounds.
