Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to lead our Spiritual Care team, providing high-quality spiritual care that meets the diverse needs of our residents.

The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications, experience in pastoral ministry and chaplaincy, and a proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement holistic spiritual care plans that cater to individual resident needs and outcomes.
  2. Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive care that respects resident choices and preferences.
  3. Source and provide spiritual resources to meet identified needs, including activities, worship services, and memorial events.
  4. Support residents in preparing for end-of-life, focusing on their life, legacy, and contribution.
  5. Design and deliver innovative spirituality programs that engage residents from diverse backgrounds.
Requirements
  1. Relevant Pastoral Care or Chaplaincy qualifications and/or experience.
  2. Demonstrated expertise in coordinating spiritual care support across various backgrounds.
  3. Effective communication, interpersonal, and written/oral skills for building rapport with people from diverse backgrounds.
  4. Previous experience working with elderly communities, preferably in health or aged care settings.
