Spiritual Care Opportunity

We are seeking a highly committed and skilled individual to provide quality spiritual care centred on individual resident needs and outcomes.

This role offers an opportunity to join a dynamic organisation providing accommodation, care, and wellness services to people within our community.

Spiritual Care Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and support the Spiritual Care team in delivering holistic care that respects resident choices and preferences.
  2. Provide resources to meet identified spiritual needs of residents, their families, and the care team.
  3. Support residents in preparing for end-of-life by reflecting their life, contribution, worth, and legacy.
  4. Develop, deliver, and lead innovative approaches to spirituality through activities, church services, devotions, memorial services, rituals, and celebrations.

The ideal candidate will have a high level of spiritual commitment, genuine heart for people, and relevant qualifications and experience in Pastoral Care, Chaplaincy, or Ministry.

Key Requirements:
  1. Relevant qualifications in Pastoral Care, Chaplaincy, or Ministry.
  2. Experience in Pastoral ministry and/or Chaplaincy.
  3. Demonstrated experience in coordinating spiritual care support and approaches for diverse backgrounds.
  4. Strong ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
  5. High-level communication skills, interpersonal, written, and oral.
  6. Experience working with elderly communities, ideally with previous or current health or aged care experience.
