Spiritual Care Leader

Maroba is seeking a Spiritual Care Coordinator to lead and support our team in providing quality spiritual care centred on individual resident needs and outcomes.

  • Lead the Spiritual Care team to deliver holistic care that respects residents' choices and preferences.
  • Ensure adequate spiritual resources meet residents', families', and staff's identified needs.
  • Support residents to prepare for end of life by reflecting their life, contribution, worth, and legacy.
  • Develop and lead innovative approaches to spirituality, including activities, church services, devotions, memorial services, rituals, and celebrations.
Requirements:

To be successful, you'll need:

  • Relevant Pastoral Care, Chaplaincy, or Ministry qualifications.
  • Experience in Pastoral ministry and/or Chaplaincy.
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating spiritual care delivery and approaches for diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Experience working with elderly communities, ideally with previous health or aged care experience.
