Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Cloud Solution Specialist. In this critical role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) - Public Cloud.
This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in cloud technology and sales execution to drive customer decisions and influence business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the evangelist helping shape customer decisions to buy and adopt Cloudera Data Platform (CDP)
- Support regional teams in specific initiatives and projects that drive cloud consumption
- Drive cloud consumption revenue through sales-led activities such as territory planning, targeted account planning, prospecting, and replicating product success at scale
- Deliver on targets for onboards, bookings, and consumption
Requirements:
- Minimum 8+ years of exceeding enterprise software sales targets
- 4+ years of relevant experience in selling public cloud solutions
- Proven ability to analyze sales data, predict market trends, customer needs, and identify new opportunities for cloud solutions
- Absolutely familiar with Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud architecture benefits of SAAS, IAAS, PAAS platforms, willingness to learn and keep up-to-date with developments in big data ecosystems
