Family Development Lead

This is a full-time, ongoing position based at Cranbourne.

You will provide leadership, strategic direction, and support to a team of professionals within the Orange Door Program.

  • Leadership: Provide guidance, oversight, and strategic leadership to ensure effective delivery of services.
  • Coordination: Coordinate collaboration across teams, agencies, and stakeholders to achieve program goals.
  • Mentoring: Develop professional development plans for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

About the Program:

  • The Orange Door Program brings together workforces from Community Service organisations, Aboriginal Services, and Government Agencies to deliver an integrated practice model and consolidated intake point for families in need.
  • The program focuses on providing services to vulnerable families who require extra support with the care, development, and wellbeing of unborn babies, infants, children, and young people.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualification.
  • Significant management experience within the child, youth, and family welfare sector.
  • A sound understanding of family and parenting issues, especially in the context of protective concerns.
  • Commitment to, and understanding of working with marginalised groups including Indigenous and CALD clients.
  • Valid and current Driver's Licence.
