The company, a leader in the architectural and decorative lighting space, is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to develop new business and maintain key client relationships throughout Sydney.

Payscale: $90,000 - $110,000 per annum + Super + $25,000 Car allowance - uncapped commissions + 0.5 - 3%

Job Description

This role will be fairly autonomous, dealing with a portfolio of key clients on a day-to-day basis as well as developing new business through sales strategy, market development, and client relationships.

  • Establish relationships with engineers, architects, lighting designers, and other professionals to sell our full portfolio of lighting products.
  • Develop an in-depth customer understanding to identify areas we can bring greatest value to grow our business share.
  • Identify new business opportunities with prospective customers.
  • Develop and implement a territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field.

We are looking for someone from an existing lighting sales background, selling a product or similar within the industry. Having an interior design or architect background would be great, but not necessary. Due to the nature of the product, my client would also look at peripheral industries such as furniture and flooring.
