Seeking a skilled professional to provide back-office operations support to the Treasury Department in processing and settlement of Treasury transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter Treasury related transactions initiated by dealers into relevant internal/external systems.
  • Sort and distribute maturing corporate deals to dealers for instructions.
  • Confirm transactions and instructions with counterparties and follow-up outstanding items.
  • Check dealing evidence and SWIFT confirmations (MT320 / MT399).
  • Authorise STP deals, book transfer, and trades in the external matching/settling system.
  • Release STP payment order for Corporate and Interbank Money Mkt transactions.
  • Prepare/dispatch 11AM Notice and Term Deposit Confirmation to corporate customer/process FX or Derivative documentation and transactions.
  • Prepare SWIFT messages via BESS and monitor confirmation matching.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment/settlement of Treasury products, observing the established cut-off time for the relevant currencies and locations.
  • Reconciliation of funds received to settle all settlements and investigating unallocated and/or non-received funds.

Requirements:

  • 1 year experience in FX settlements or a similar or related role within Treasury Operations.
  • Experience with Austraclear and/or Swift would be highly advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with good time management skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
